Hawaiian Hula Dance Performance & Workshop:
Offers students grades K - 12 the opportunity of experiencing the traditional dance of Hawai‘i – the hula. One of the most beautiful, unique cultural arts in the world, hula has been passed down through generations, and has been practiced since early Polynesians arrived in the islands around 500 A.D.
Indian Dance Performance & Workshop:
Offers students grades K - 12 the opportunity of experiencing the flavors of the far East as Andrea introduces them to Bharata Natyam, a classical dance style that originated nearly two thousand years ago in south India.
Artist in Residence:
Integral Dance offers Artist in Residence options
for either Hawaiian Hula or Indian Dance students
grades K-12.
Indian Dance Camp: Ananda Natya School of Indian Dance hosts a yearly Indian Dance & Art sleepaway camp for girls ages 11 – 14. Dates for 2009: July 10 - 14
Retreats & Conferences: Andrea is available to teach workshops in either Hula or Indian Dance at retreats and conferences.
Essence Hula™ is an approach to hula that explores an individual’s essential nature or an aspect of their life journey through customized choreography.
Commissioned Choreography is available in both art forms of Hula and Indian Dance and can be created for individuals or groups.
